#8 Straight fairway with out-of-bounds right. No bunders on left but out-of-bounds behind green. Green slopes towards all sides with subtle breaks.
#17 Straight fairway with out-of-bounds right. No bunders on left but out-of-bounds behind green. Green slopes towards all sides with subtle breaks.
#8 This is a straight fairway with a line of trees both left and right that will catch wayward shots. Along the right side is out-of-bounds as well as behind the green. There are no bunkers but this might be the most difficult green to putt on the course. It slopes from the back middle of the green to all sides. Determining the putting line is very difficult. For a very short par 3, this hole was played to a 3.5 average for the ‘championship’ flight for the 1996 Headland Invitational Classic and the weather was great! It looks so easy but don’t be fooled. This is a tough little hole!
#17 As #17 uses the same tee box, the setup is the same except for that #17 is usually 10-15 yards longer.
