Rams Win Golf Match
Six teams competed Thursday, Apr 18th at Headland Country Club
Headland, April 18, 2013: The Headland High School Golf team won a Wiregrass Athletic Conference (WAC) area golf match with a team total 326 on April 18th at the Headland Country Club. Rehobeth placed second with a team total of 351 and Slocomb was third with a team total of 362. Also participating were teams from Geneva County High School (WAC), Houston Academy and Providence Christian Academy. In all, 31 golfers participated.
In the WAC, Cameron Kennedy shot 78 to win low medalist honors edging Ryan Parish who had a 79, both who play for Headland. Slocomb’s Brandon Wallace placed 3rd with a 82, Headland’s Payton DeShazo was 4th with 83 and Rehobeth’s Cam Coggins placed 5th with an 84. Non-qualifying Geneva County High’s Isaac Hatcher shot 70 and Seth Stafford shot 76.
