The ACA Golf Tournament was held on May 19th and 20th at the Headland Country Club with proceed going to benefit Abbeville Christian Academy.

The temperatures are mild, weather is great and the scenery is beautiful with all of fall foliage breaking out in beautiful hues of splashing yellow, harvest orange, and vibrant reds mixed in with the green pine trees. The Bradley - Keller American Legion Post 119 in Abbeville held an American Legion Benefit Golf Tournament at the Headland Country Club on Wednesday, October 12th. Gus McCoy wishes to thank everyone that turned out to support the American Legion.

Mike Smith breezed through a wind beaten Headland Country Club course with a three under par 105 to win the 2011 Labor Day Tournament by 7 shots. Allen Cole's 112 captured 2nd place and Todd Weeks shot 114 for 3rd place in the Championship A Flight. K.V. Douglas won the Championship B flight wiht a 115 which was 5 shots better than Joe Masters 120 2nd place finish while Luke Douglas captured 3rd place with 121. The officers of the Headland Country Club wish to thank all of those that turned out in spite of the inclement weather.


The Headland Country Club held it's annual 3 Man Scramble on August 20th & 21st. We had another terrific turnout with a full field even with the hot weather!  The course was in immaculate condition and everyone had a great time.  The HCC Tournament Committee, Board of Directors and Membership wish to thank everyone that participated in this tournament.
