logo jbaHeadland:​ The course was full of golfers at the Headland Country Club on Saturday, August 27, 2016 to raise money for the Judson Baptist Association "Drive Out Hunger" campaign.​   The winning team with a score of ​-18 under par was ​​Kevin Slay, Kevin Jones and Nick Dillard. Shooting -16 under par was the 2nd place team of Jeff Ward, Mack Senn and Jerry Hardy.  Third place with a score of -14 was ​​Caleb Bristow, Lowell Bristow and Bryan Byrd​​.  ​Caleb Bristow won the Closest to the Pin award and Kevin Woodham won the Long Drive award.​

The Judson Baptist Association and the Headland Country Club wishes to thank all of the participants who came out to support this effort as well as enjoy a day of fellowship!

Annual event held on August 20th – 21st

The annual Headland Country Club 3-Man Scramble was held August 20th – 21st. The board and members of the Headland Country Club wishes to thank all of the golfers who turned out to make our event a success!

The Henry County Troy University Alumni Club wishes to thank everyone who turned out to play in our Troy University Scholarship Golf Tournament held on April 19th at the Headland Country Club. Our thanks to the Alumni Club members who helped out with the tournament. We especially want to thank all of the sponsors who helped by sponsoring signs on each hole!

2016 07 18 HCC maintenanceMonday was a work day! K.V., Tim, Jerry, Neal and Luke sanded/raked greens as well as mowed fairways! Greens are filling in nicely and all are playable now.

 

Headland finished in fourth place in the Class 4A-5A sectional golf tournament in Montgomery at Arrowhead Country Club on Tuesday and advanced to the sub-state next week in Jasper.

The Rams had a team score of 334. UMS-Wright finished first at 299, followed by Trinity (313) and St. James (332).

For Headland, Samuel Hammitte led the way with an 81, followed by Seth Cunningham and Trent Bridges at 83 and Kyle Jones at 87.
