2016 11 13 1st Annual HCC Shootout winners John Eiland Nic BoatwrightJohn Eiland and Nic Boatwright shot a 26-64 for a total of 90 to win the 1st HCC Shootout Golf Tournament held Sunday, November 13th at the Headland Country Club.  In the Championship A flight, Kevin Slay and Chase Bagwell finished 2nd with a 31-66=97 total.  In the Championship B flight, Alan Cole and Ashley Cole shot 33-68=101 to win 1st place over Tim Granberry and Greg Hutchinson who shot 32-70=102.  In the First Flight, 1st place went to Mark Barnes and Skip Wisdom with a score of 34-69=103 over 2nd place finishers Shaun Freeman and Mike McClaney who shot 34-70=104.

This was a 27 hole tournament with teams playing a scramble on the front nine, a best ball on the middle nine and alternate shot on the last nine with a blind draw after play.  Nic Boatwright, tournament director stated "Thank you to all that made the 1st annual HCC shootout a success! We had a very good turnout with 23 teams. Thank yall so much for supporting our efforts to make HCC great again!!".

logo jbaHeadland:​ The course was full of golfers at the Headland Country Club on Saturday, August 27, 2016 to raise money for the Judson Baptist Association "Drive Out Hunger" campaign.​   The winning team with a score of ​-18 under par was ​​Kevin Slay, Kevin Jones and Nick Dillard. Shooting -16 under par was the 2nd place team of Jeff Ward, Mack Senn and Jerry Hardy.  Third place with a score of -14 was ​​Caleb Bristow, Lowell Bristow and Bryan Byrd​​.  ​Caleb Bristow won the Closest to the Pin award and Kevin Woodham won the Long Drive award.​

The Judson Baptist Association and the Headland Country Club wishes to thank all of the participants who came out to support this effort as well as enjoy a day of fellowship!
