Mike Smith breezed through a wind beaten Headland Country Club course with a three under par 105 to win the 2011 Labor Day Tournament by 7 shots. Allen Cole’s 112 captured 2nd place and Todd Weeks shot 114 for 3rd place in the Championship A Flight. K.V. Douglas won the Championship B flight wiht a 115 which was 5 shots better than Joe Masters 120 2nd place finish while Luke Douglas captured 3rd place with 121. The officers of the Headland Country Club wish to thank all of those that turned out in spite of the inclement weather.
