The Headland Country Club conducted its annual Labor Day tournament on Monday, September 6th with 23 players participating. We appreciate the support of our members for this tournament as turnout was a bit low due to the extreme heat and there were four particpants that could not finish due to the heat. It’s been a long hot summer and everyone is looking forward to the cool days of fall!
Matt Sullivan was the low medalist for this 27 hole tournament with a score of 110 followed by Allen Cole with a 113 and Jamie Correa with 114 in the Championship Flight. K.V. Douglas won the First Flight with a score of 113 followed by Randy Sanders with 114 and Greg Hutcheson with 116. Ashley cole won the Second Flight with a score of 120 followed by Jerry Hardy with 122 and Fred Arnold with 123.
